Andreas Ciroth
Founder, CEO

Michael Srocka
Lead Software Developer
Michael Srocka works with GreenDelta since more than 15 years; environmental engineer by education (TU Berlin, 2004) he also holds a degree in practical informatics from Fernuni Hagen. Michael leads the IT development in GreenDelta. He is a highly skilled senior programmer, with a special dedication to Java and databases, and has written most of the parts of the openLCA software.


Sebastian Greve
Lead Software Developer
Sebastian is a skilled senior software developer and works with GreenDelta since 2008. He leads the development of several web applications, including openLCA Nexus and LCA Collaboration Server. Sebastian works full stack with core expertise in frontend and API development, currently React and Spring are his frameworks of choice.

Julia Cilleruelo Palomero
Sustainability Consultant and Communications
Julia holds a master’s degree in General Engineering specialising in New and Renewable Energy from Durham University (UK). Before working at GreenDelta, Julia founded her own startup on the field of LCA. At GreenDelta, she works on LCA private and public projects and on establishing international partnerships and external communications.

Kirill Maister
Sustainability Consultant
Kirill got a M.Sc. Environmental Resource Management degree at the Brandenburg Technical University. Currently, he is involved in LCIA and environmental consulting at GreenDelta. Before studying in Germany, he was working in the Russian power engineering sector as a project development engineer for 1.5 years.

Anja Kooymans
Lead Backoffice & Administration
Anja holds a master’s degree in American cultural history and a certificate in financial accounting. She worked in many areas as for example public relations, tv and film production, self employed with her own business in sports and managing a small non-profit organization in the social sector. There being in charge of administration and the public funding process, she now is leading the backoffice at GreenDelta.

Shehab Saleh
Sustainability Consultant
Shehab has a bachelor and master’s degree in Environmental Science and Technology from TU Berlin, where he focused on Sustainable Engineering and Circular Economy. Before joining GreenDelta, he helped further develop the ESSENZ-Method for the evaluation of resource efficiency at the Chair for Sustainable Engineering at the TU Berlin and later joined a small start-up, where he was solely in charge for performing LCAs of their products.

François Le Rall
Software Developer
François graduated from KTH in Stockholm and Centrale Lyon. He previously worked as a robotic engineer in Warsaw. Since March 2022, he is working in the GreenDelta software development team. François is responsible for software development and implementation of Java applications.

Amina Sultan
Sustainability Consultant
Amina finished both her bachelor’s and master’s at TU Berlin with a focus on sustainable development as well as water and waste management. Before GreenDelta, she worked in environmental research and had experience in carrying out comparative LCA studies. At GreenDelta, she works on a project aiming to develop a digital platform and a reliable database for secondary raw material.

Shravya Hebbur Murali
Sustainability Consultant
Shravya holds degrees in Chemical Engineering (B.E.) from BMSCE, Bangalore and Environmental Engineering (M.Sc.) from TU Hamburg, where her research was focused on water treatment and management. She has previously worked in the wind energy industry for three years in QHSE and project management. At GreenDelta, she works on LCA research projects, databases and other environmental consulting activities.

Friedrich Halstenberg
Sustainability Consultant
Friedrich Halstenberg holds a PhD on Engineering of circular systems from the TU Berlin. Previously, he worked as a researcher for the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Systems and Design Technology (IPK) and the TU Berlin, where he focused on product lifecycle management (PLM) and the development of sustainable products and services. At GreenDelta, Friedrich works in research and consultancy projects focusing on LCA, Circular Economy and product development.

Bach Ngoc Tran
Software Developer
Bach has a master’s degree in Web Engineering issued by Technical University Chemnitz and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Hanoi University. Before starting master study, he has worked as a software developer for Vietsoftware, an offshore development center for IBM in Vietnam. He started his work in GreenDelta in August 2022 as a fullstack developer with expertise in Java, Javascript and frontend development.

Alexander Koch
Sustainability Consultant
Alexander has a bachelor’s degree in Resource Efficiency Management from Pforzheim University of Applied Sciences and master’s degree in Biological Resources from Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences. Before joining GreenDelta, Alexander worked as a freelancer applying life cycle assessments. At GreenDelta he continues to work in LCA projects and is involved in various sustainability consulting activities.

Eleftheria Tsiopou
Backoffice and Administration Assistant
Eleftheria holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Sustainable Development and a master´s degree in Sustainability, Circular Economy and Climate Change. Before joining GreenDelta she worked as Operations Manager in the field of Circular Economy and as Sustainable Finance Strategist in the bank area. At GreenDelta she works on providing Backoffice and Administration Assistance.

Raphael Zimmermann
Sustainability Consultant & Data Scientist
Raphael holds two M.Sc. degrees in Environmental and Food Economics as well as Biological Oceanography and Limnology from the University of Milan and the University of Amsterdam. He has a B.Sc. in Ecology from the University of East Anglia. Before joining GreenDelta he was involved in research of Caribbean and Antarctic marine ecosystems. He also worked as a Project Manager in the world of E-commerce. At GreenDelta he is involved in LCA projects and Python-based data analysis and database work.

Conrad Spindler
Sustainability Consultant & Researcher
Conrad holds a PhD in Physics and Materials Science from the University of Luxembourg. Previously, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher for the Laboratory of Photovoltaics and lecturer for the Scienteens Lab at the University of Luxembourg, where he focussed on the development of solar cell materials for renewable energy systems. At GreenDelta, Conrad works on research projects in the framework of HORIZON Europe, LCA database developments for openLCA and in consultancy projects with focus on LCA, LCC and sLCA.

Max Bringmann
Intern
Max holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences Bremen, and is currently pursuing his Master’s degree with Technische Universität Berlin in Environmental Science and Technology. There, he is specializing in LCA, sustainable development and circular economy. As a sustainability consultant intern, he supports Julia in some of her LCA projects with customers.

Lingie Ji
Working Student
Lingjie is currently a student at the Technical University of Berlin, where she is majoring in environmental engineering. 2021 she spent 3 months as an intern at GreenDelta and gained a lot of experience about LCA. Right now, she is writing her Bachelor’s thesis at GreenDelta. At the same time, she is also involved in a number of projects and trying to learn more about sustainability and LCA.

Theresa Schlegel
Working Student
Theresa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Tübingen and is currently writing her Master’s thesis in Bioeconomy at the University of Hohenheim in cooperation with GreenDelta. Previously, she gained experience in sustainability management at Henkel and in environmental compliance at the Fraunhofer Institute. As a working student, Theresa is also part of our LCA consulting team, where she is involved in several client projects.
